Tomás Segovia is a Mexican poet and writer who was born in Valencia, Spain, in 1927. He founded the publication PRESENCE (1946), was director of the MEXICAN MAGAZINE OF LITERATURE (1958-1963), and a contributor to PLURAL and RETURN magazines. Segovia taught at several universities including Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and Princeton University.
